WE'RE IN IT FOR THE LONG RUN
Be a part of a new chapter in Illinois cross country history!
The Chicago Area Track & Field Organizing Committee (CATFOC), has led the effort to design and develop the Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course in Geneva, Illinois. Conveniently located and adjacent to the Kane County Cougars stadium, this venue is for all ages – middle school, high school, collegiate, and open. The Course provides the athletes and spectators with panoramic views of both the Fox River Valley and the skyline of Chicago.
You've experienced the excitement of cross country, and know the impact it has on all who are involved. But did you know it costs about $5,000 to host a twenty-team cross country invitational on a fall Saturday morning?
We are asking our running community, corporate sponsors and individuals alike, to financially help us bring this new venue to life for Kane County and all of northern Illinois. Not only will this be an investment in an economic-driving opportunity for our community, but more importantly, an investment in the great young athletes who participate in the sport that we love.
Please consider investing what you can, and sharing the word with your network. Together, this groundbreaking venue will serve many generations to come.
